Biography

Pereiro’s first year racing came in 2000 with Porta da Revssa, where he stayed until moving to Phonak in 2002. He and Floyd Landis were Phonak teammates in 2005, when Pereiro placed 10th overall at the Tour de France. The following year, Landis won the Tour, then was later disqualified for a positive testosterone doping test, and Pereiro inherited the overall title, his biggest win to date.
