Biography

One of the best of a new generation of Irish riders coming up through the ranks, he rode well in the French amateur ranks, picking up wins at the Tour de la Savoie in 2003 and Ronde de l’Isard in 2004 thanks to his lithe climbing legs. Zapped by glandular fever in 2006 and injured in 2007, he’s hoping to be back at his best in 2008.
