Biography
Sullivan was racing by age nine. Training within the Tasmanian Sports Institute, Sullivan excelled under coach Kevin Tabotta, taking the Australian under-19 national championship in 1996. In 2002 he raced on the Dutch amateur team Bloks, which was led by six-time Tour De France stage winner Jelle Nijdam.
